In Fiscal Year 2023, CEDS Finance achieved its most impactful year to date—tripling annual deployment and investing $3.1 million into small businesses across Colorado. Through a combination of flexible lending, Islamic-compliant financing, and culturally responsive technical assistance, CEDS supported 523 loans, delivered over 1,280 business support services, and helped create or retain 1,520 jobs. The organization expanded beyond Metro Denver into Weld and Morgan Counties, strengthened partnerships with more than 50 community organizations, and continued to serve entrepreneurs who face the greatest barriers to traditional capital, including immigrant, refugee, BIPOC, and low-income business owners .
