Denisse Party Supplies

Maria opened her store, Denisse Party Supplies, in 2013. Named after Maria’s daughter, Denisse Party Supplies provides cakes, piñatas, Mexican candy, decorations, and other supplies for events and celebrations such as quinceaneras, weddings, and holiday celebrations. Her clients come from all across Colorado to buy her cakes, which are made from specialty recipes from her mother. Maria has utilized CEDS’ business consulting resources and worked with our partner, Mile High United Way, to improve her financial reporting and develop a clear business plan.

With a loan during the pandemic, Maria was able to pivot her business model to focus not only on cakes and party supplies, but also on renting out tables, chairs, and bounce houses. This loan allowed her to not only continue operating during the pandemic but to grow Denisse Party Supplies.
